The Company
About Forge
-Born in Newton, MA, Forge kicked off with a mission to tackle the looming trades‑worker shortage by launching its own apprenticeship‑style school and deployment model. -Backed by a successful Series A and A1, the company scaled fast—launching proprietary tech like its Service Hub app. -Forge focuses on installing heat‑pump systems—custom‑designed, ducted and ductless—for homeowners across Greater Boston, bringing efficiency and cost savings. -They blend old‑school craftsmanship with modern tools—on‑job training, augmented‑reality aids, scheduling software—to reshape how trades work. -Their typical project: full‑service residential heat‑pump installations, from design to rebate application and post‑install support. -Forge’s standout twist: they don’t subcontract—employees are full‑time, benefiting from benefits, career paths, and upskilling. -An unusual fact: a former apprentice became crew leader, reflecting the depth of their training‑to‑leadership pipeline.
