Tasks
-Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, IEEE, OSHA, and local codes. -Design and develop power distribution, lighting, fire detection, and backup systems for industrial facilities. -Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, cable schedules, and specifications. -Recommend and implement energy-efficient and sustainable electrical designs. -Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation and compliance with design and safety standards. -Coordinate with civil, structural, and mechanical teams to integrate electrical systems into overall plant design. -Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during fabrication, installation, and commissioning.

What You Bring
-7+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, including EPC projects in metals/mining/heavy industry. -Must be accessible at any time for emergencies. -Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally. -Requires frequent bending, stooping and lifting. -Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. -Solid knowledge of electrical codes and industrial safety standards. -Experience with 3-phase power distribution, substations, motors, and instrumentation systems. -Strong problem-solving and communication skills. -Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. -Proficiency in ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, or equivalent software. -Must be able to work weekends and long hours in a high-pressure working environment.
