The Role

Overview

Design and develop instrumentation and control systems for data center projects.

Tasks

-Prepare instrumentation engineering/design deliverables including: -Collaborating across disciplines to create integrated engineering solutions. -Collaborate across disciplines to develop level sketches and ensure design integration. -Coordinate with third-party control system vendors and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). -Ensuring safety and compliance in every aspect of design and execution. -Designing innovative and reliable control systems that enhance operational efficiency. -Mentor junior engineers and support team development. -Review vendor documentation and provide technical recommendations. -Participate in a wellness program promoting balanced lifestyles -Develop and review P&IDs for various projects. -Develop control systems (DCS/PLC) data sheets and design documents: -Select and size I&C components such as valves, thermowells, orifice plates, and relief valves. -Ensure compliance with company and project site safety policies.

What You Bring

-Associate's degree preferred -5+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls design, preferably in data center or industrial projects. -Proficiency in engineering design software and tools, including REVIT. -Staying current with emerging instrumentation technologies and industry standards. -Strong understanding of control systems (DCS/PLC), instrumentation technologies, and industry standards. -A proactive mindset and commitment to delivering solutions that meet technical and safety requirements. -Experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. -Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external vendors.
