Tasks

-Undertake check function for design calculations performed by other engineering colleagues. -To proactively contribute to teamwork and cross-functional working. To listen to each other and share knowledge enabling us to willingly combine expertise across the business and with our clients and supply chain. -Assist in the management of the tender process, understand and interpret scope of works, provide advice and opinion -Analysis of existing foundations -To operate in an open- and even-handed manner with all personnel across the business. Treat all who we interact with, with courtesy and respect, treating everyone equally and embracing differences. Encourage everyone to achieve maximum potential.

What You Bring

-Chartered Engineer preferred with either the ICE, CGeol or IStructE -Degree level education or equivalent with formal training in civil engineering and/or geotechnical engineering. -IT Literate (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, CAD) -Experience of the supervision of sub-consultants or subcontractors -Proven experience of the design of civil engineering works -Strong, proven experience of the management of design of civil or geotechnical engineering works -Reinforced Concrete design and detailing compliant to required Client & national technical standards (BS/Eurocodes/ENA) -Experience in the design and checking of temporary works for civil engineering projects -Strong, proven post-graduate experience in the civil engineering industry
