Tasks

As a CSL-Certified Field Technician at Window Nation, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing precise project measurements and completing essential post-sale services. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly contribute to our reputation for outstanding quality and customer care. -Ensures orders meet required installation specifications; ensures comprehensive purchase order, including material and labor requirements -Maintains service parts inventory and equipment -Visits residential customer sites to measure each window, door, sliding glass door opening as needed -Reviews installation project/process with customers -Executes change order specifications -Completes service assessments; identifies needed services, materials, and labor to relevant stakeholders -Supports pricing process by providing accurate measurements and assessments for labor/materials -Anticipates roadblocks that could impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance; recommend solutions

In this role, you'll travel regularly within these regions and occasionally nationwide, so flexibility and comfort with travel are essential. We're HIRING IMMEDIATELY for a CSL-Certified Field Technician to join our team, supporting the Boston, MA, and New Haven-Milford, CT metro areas, including surrounding communities such as Norwood, MA, Wallingford, CT, and Hartford, CT. At this time, Window Nation is unable to provide sponsorship for employment visas now or in the future. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. -Maintains Construction Supervisor License (CSL)* -2+ years professional experience measuring replacement windows -Superior time and project management skills -Fulfills service appointment specifications -Construction Supervisor License (CSL)** -Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel; experience with Customer Relationship management systems preferred -Ability to navigate a CRM system (i.e., SalesForce, Dynamics, Microsoft systems) -Valid Driver’s License; and driving record that meets company’s insurance standards -High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent -Knowledge of local permit/license/historical/HOA requirements -Ability to use an extension ladder in a safe manner to measure windows and perform services -Maintains a substantive knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics -2+ years professional experience installing/repairing windows, roofing, siding, and related home improvement projects -Capability to navigate various applications on an iPad -Customer-centric mindset -Must be able to pass EPA certification and follow EPA Regulations
