Tasks
As Vice-President of Strategic Initiatives and Innovation at Saint-Gobain Canada, you will be a key member of the Canadian Executive Team, reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll lead strategic initiatives and innovation projects that shape the company’s future, drive growth, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. -Analyze market and internal capabilities to identify growth paths. -Explore strategic partnerships and acquisitions. -Embed sustainable practices into operations and decision-making. -Establish success metrics and adjust strategies as needed. -Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities. -Identify opportunities for resource efficiency and environmental innovation. -Drive innovation through new ideas, technologies, and processes. -Lead transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and competitiveness. -Encourage strategic thinking across all levels of the organization. -Integrate emerging technologies and processes. -Oversee change management strategies for smooth transitions. -Communicate sustainability goals and progress to stakeholders. -Monitor and evaluate the performance of initiatives and projects. -Champion sustainability and corporate social responsibility. -Formulate long-term plans aligned with company vision. -Develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with corporate goals. -Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership. -Stay informed on industry trends to adapt strategies accordingly -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute growth strategies.

What You Bring
-Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. -Proven ability to lead, shift, and sustain new cultures -Proven results in management and sustainment of change, employee engagement -Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and innovation projects. -Advanced problem-solving and communication abilities. -Proven ability to lead hybrid teams and sustain cultural change. -Leadership in team development and cultural transformation. -Experience in manufacturing and support functions. -Bachelor’s degree in business, strategy, or related field. -Proven success in change management and strategic execution. -Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and continuous improvement methodologies. -10 -15 years of progressive cross-functional experience in Innovation and other leadership roles, with the ability to work in and understand the dynamics of large and small operations, with a broad variety of manufacturing processes -Ability to translate strategy into action and drive results. -Combination of manufacturing plant operations and corporate office experience -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Six Sigma, WCM, lean, or other continuous improvement methodology experience -Strategic thinking and the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans. -Strong business acumen and analytical skills. -10–15 years in strategic planning and innovation leadership.
