Lead and supervise the modeling and documentation of projects.
Supervise the layout and input of marked‐up drawings into Revit in accordance with REI Standards
Provide effective verbal and written direction to support staff.
Create and maintain Electrical Revit model using backgrounds from other trades following all REI standards
Work with Family Development Team for the revised standards or for a project’s needs
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
Work with a diverse team across multiple departments and disciplines
Manage all aspects of assigned projects including project models, advising on resource needs, progress, and potential impacts on scope/schedule/budget.

General work environment - sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computerized Drafting, Architectural Design or related discipline with a minimum of 1 year in Revit
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of Revit, with the ability to create and manipulate Revit families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar
Effective performance management
Fluency in reading 2D plans, electronically or hard copy, including one-lines, lighting schedules, panel schedules, and feeder schedules
Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
Skills obtained beyond the building elements would be setting up Revit models, leading model teams in modeling, annotating, project scheduling, assigning workload and meeting deadline
Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
Capable of successfully performing all tasks of a BIM Modeler II
Minimum 5 years’ total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards
Type, proofread, spell check work without supervision
Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player
Understanding of Revit work sharing process and method
Complete understanding of REI BIM processes, procedures, and standards including workflow processes
