The Role

Night-time mobile patrol security guard ensuring safety of client properties.

Tasks

-Enforce site regulations and maintain order with professionalism, integrity, and respect -Monitor facility entrances, access points, and surveillance systems to ensure only authorized personnel and visitors enter the premises -Maintain a safe and secure environment by following Edon Management’s security protocols and client site standards -Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established procedures to de-escalate and resolve incidents -Conduct routine patrols and detailed walk-through inspections of buildings, exterior grounds, and restricted areas -Document daily activities, incidents, and observations through accurate and timely reporting -Support fire safety and emergency response protocols to protect occupants and property -Identify and address potential safety or security concerns, reporting irregularities and ensuring that building safety systems are functioning properly

What You Bring

-Comfortable driving during night shifts and working independently across multiple locations -Minimum of two years of security experience, preferably in a commercial or facility environment -Strong command of the English language (written and verbal) with the ability to prepare clear, detailed reports -Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License with a clean driving record and no demerits -Completed Grade 12 education or equivalent -Excellent knowledge of security practices, emergency procedures, and incident response protocols -Standard First Aid and CPR with AED certification is considered an asset -Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; able to remain calm, professional, and courteous in all interactions -Valid Alberta Security License (mandatory requirement)
