Intermediate /Senior Bridge Engineer

Overview

Design, inspect, and manage bridge projects, including new builds and rehabilitation.

Tasks

-Assist in preparation of construction specifications. -Prepare plan drawings and details. -Perform analysis and design calculations according to the applicable design codes; use computer programs as appropriate. -Organize design calculations; and assist with project construction administration including reviews of shop drawings and requests for information. -Perform material quantity take-offs. -Assist with planning and schematic/geometric layout of new structures. -Assist with on-site inspection, analysis and condition assessment of existing structures.Perform construction and life cycle cost estimate.

What You Bring

-4-8 years of relevant experience. -Knowledge of structural analysis software. -Proficient with MS Office software. -P.Eng designation obtained or will be obtained soon. -Ability to work in a team environment. -Bridge Inspection experience OSIM. -Bachelor of Civil Engineering. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Familiar with Bentley’s MicroStation.
