Tasks

-Understand and advise on legal implications of data handling practices and AI components of software utilized by the Company, including Open Source -Work closely with engineering teams to ensure proper contractual protection relating to the development and implementation of new technologies and products -Identify potential legal risks for new products, components and potential partnerships and develop risk mitigation strategies. -Provide legal advice to supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering teams on joint development agreements, manufacturing agreements, strategic sourcing and supply agreements, indirect sourcing, non-disclosure agreements, prototype agreements, material transfer agreements, cooperative research and development agreements, university agreements, and other IP sensitive arrangements.

What You Bring

-Member in good standing of at least one state bar association. -International experience is a plus -Degree in Law (JD) from an accredited law school. -Global supply chain and manufacturing experience is a plus. -10 or more years of legal experience as a technology transactions -Intellectual property background and technology licensing experience is -Experience and understanding of Artificial Intelligence systems is a plus.
