Tasks

-Monitor outstanding proposals and follow up to improve hit rates and meet sales targets. -Promote VTCs brand value to establish VTC as an accepted supplier and advance VTC’s position to become customer’s preferred supplier, valued strategic partner. -Lead negotiations on major opportunities, ensuring alignment with company objectives. -Collaborate with VTC inside sales and engineering teams to create accurate and effective solutions and quotations for customers. -Discover customer growth plans, transformer procurement needs and technical requirements/specifications, and product, process, commercial expectations and their views of future trends. -Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure customer requirements are met. -Regularly report sales activities, market intelligence, and performance metrics to senior management. -Develop and maintain strong relationships with buying decision-makers and key influencers in assigned data center customers. -Provide market feedback to support product development and innovation initiatives. -Maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking inquiries, quotes, and bookings. -Develop and propose technical and commercial solutions tailored to data center requirements, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and project needs. -Facilitate expanding relationships between customer procurement, engineering/design, construction project, O&M key players and corresponding VTC teams. -Continuously assess the data center market, identifying trends, key players, and growth opportunities and communicate findings to data center market leader. -Own and drive capturing, booking, each sale pursuit and converting each to manufacturing operations; support each project sale through its life cycle. -Analyze competitor activities and adjust recommend strategies to establish/maintain a competitive edge. -Identify and pursue specific customer procurement opportunities, drive/own VTC sales activity to capture the sale; support the customer throughout life cycle of each sold project. -Act as a technical and commercial solution liaison, advisor, to customers, addressing questions and providing guidance on transformer products, applications, and commercial arrangements to influence customer positioning VTC sales advantage.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. -Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. -Strong technical knowledge of electrical/power distribution systems; transformer knowledge is an advantage. -Proven track record of success in sales, particularly within the data center or power distribution industries. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer needs and identify opportunities. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in transformer sales; Electrical Engineering is an advantage.
