Sustainability Consultant - BREEAM Infrastructure

Provide BREEAM sustainability consulting, energy modelling and LCA for UK projects.

Tasks

-Set up and maintain projects via the project evidence tracker; -Assist with the delivery of BREEAM projects with support from senior members of the team; -Managing your own workload to meet project deadlines; -Assisting in preparing bids and proposals for new work; -Engaging with skills networks to exchange best practices and processes; -Producing reports providing advice and guidance to clients and project teams; -Reviewing documentation provided by project teams, assess this against the project’s targets and provide feedback or follow-up; -Reviewing project details and develop targets for sustainability; -Communicating sustainability requirements to internal and external team members; -Attending site visits to review progress against sustainability targets; -Reviewing the performance of designated projects on a monthly basis and update the team’s project tracker with progress information;

What You Bring

-Client relationship management skills; -Emerging business development and sales skills; -Working knowledge of building performance modelling techniques; -Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills; -Knowledge of or technical ability in building services related disciplines. -A relevant degree, BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) or equivalent/higher; -Proven track record of project delivery; -Knowledge of planning, environmental impact assessments or wider sustainability legislation; -Background in building physics/environmental design, environmental science or sustainability related disciplines; -Thorough understanding of the construction industry and built environment; -Qualified BREEAM Assessor; -Part L modelling experience (TAS preferable) and LCA experience (OneClick LCA preferable); -Strong business development experience. -Experience developing and managing others;
