-Checks all technical work for accuracy. -Deal directly with clients/owners to determine specific project needs. -Assist market segment manager and team leader in preparation of RFP type proposal responses including project write ups, resumes, etc. -Be responsible for the total mechanical systems design for specific projects. -Assist team leader in annual reviews of mechanical staff. -Assist market segment manager and team leader in manpower projections and scheduling of work. -Manage, direct and supervise mechanical engineering staff in the execution of specific projects to meet schedules and timely completion of projects. Schedule and lead mechanical production staff meetings. -Supervise projects to ensure they meet commitments related to time, quality, and communication. Work directly with clients to establish project schedules and set expectations. -Take an active lead in proposal for work process. Identify prospective clients and work in conjunction with team leader to establish relationships with those clients. -Assist market segment manager and team leader in maintaining and developing client base through various business development efforts. -Visits construction site to monitor progress and other duties per contract documents.
-P.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred, not required -Experience and detailed understanding of Revit is a plus. -10+ years of design/engineering consulting experience. -Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to work well independently and as part of an experienced team.
