Tasks

-Manage basic geotechnical and material testing projects -Work independently on specific assignments of limited scope and with engineers and on larger projects as a team member -Observe construction in progress and reports to project engineer -Perform various field and laboratory tests -Develops solutions, makes recommendations, and prepares engineering reports for review -Prepare proposals for geotechnical and material testing projects -Maintain client communications and build client relations -Perform field related services at least 50% of time

What You Bring

-Good written and verbal communication skills -Valid driver's license and clean driving record -Prior professional consulting experience desired, up to four years -Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related -Geotechnical experience preferred -Possess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months -Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. periodically -Proficiency in field-testing & report writing experience -Travel up to 25% of time
