Tasks

-Inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications. -Eliminates construction and job site hazards and performs required safety observations. -Identifies conflicts or need for clarification in contract documents. -Leads job planning for work packages, oversees construction/manufacturing schedules, assesses manpower requirements, and optimizes staffing levels based on equipment and tool expertise. -Meticulously prepares material take-offs, designs intricate systems, and generates detailed isometric and schematic sketches from various technical documents such as blueprints, specifications, and job orders. -As required, works with tools to meet construction schedules or other demands. -Coaches, mentors, and provides guidance to the craft workers (sheet metal trade). Schedules and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers and operation of equipment and machinery. Verify all staff certifications when scheduling personnel on a project. -Coordinates placement and storage of materials, tools and supplies to support the construction plan. Assists in maintaining assigned tool inventory. -Verifies that delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience -Residential and apartment (Multifamily) experience with some light commercial preferred -Proven experience as a Construction Foreman -Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems -Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints -In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
