The Role
Overview
Ensure reliability of critical equipment in a pipe casting foundry.

Tasks
-Monitoring critical equipment assets such as Hydraulic Systems, Pumps, Blowers, Gearboxes. -Tracking Maintenance metrics and identifying problematic issues to reduce unscheduled downtime. -Coordinating with Maintenance Superintendent and Planners on critical path repairs or predictive maintenance actions. -Investigating failure points using technical data collection and analysis and reporting findings in written presentation, defining root cause, and developing preventative plan and corrective measures. -Implementing ideas and procedures to fortify equipment reliability and operational readiness. -Immediately advises Leadership of any significant maintenance problems causing or having the potential to cause delays or shutdowns of operations and works expediently toward a resolution of the issues in combined effort with Maintenance team. -Locating, overseeing, and developing good working relationships with contractors and vendors who support our equipment reliability efforts. -Working with Maintenance Manager to develop equipment upgrade and asset protection plans.

What You Bring
-Motion Amplification experience a plus. -Thermographic Inspection experience. -Ability to function in a kinetic, industrial environment. -Well-developed critical thinking. -Good verbal and written communication skills. -Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel. -ISO 18436-2 accredited in Vibration Analysis [CAT I, CAT II preferred] -AutoCAD and Inventor experience preferred. -BS in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred. -Initiative-taking and inquisitive. -Oil Analysis/Tribology interpretation. ICML MLT certification -Unbiassed approach to investigation and data collection. -Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional or CRE credentials through Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals -Vibration Analysis experience. -Ultrasound/sonic testing experience. -LEAN Manufacturing/OSHA Safety certifications are a plus. -Self-leadership ability.
