The Role

Overview

Manage and support manufacturing production, equipment, and quality at nVent Sydney.

Tasks

-Responsible for coordinating production schedules on a daily and weekly basis to meet customer work order requirements. -To maintain a clean and safe work environment on site -Manage and monitor expenses and assets to meet assigned goals -Generate manufacturing related metrics as requested by management -Maintain and implement any ISO related Quality requirements on site -Oversee production assets to ensure equipment are serviced at recommended intervals -Ensure the production workflow comply to nVent EH&S guidelines. -Responsible for the accuracy and timely completion of work orders with optimal use of resources -Maintain systematic audit trails to keep accurate inventory in the production cell -Assist with nVent Electrical & Fastening production work on site and in the field -Establish and maintain co-operative business relationships with internal and external stakeholders -Serve as a point of escalation for problems/issues to ensure a prompt resolution -Manage business in accordance with quality standards

What You Bring

-Restricted Electrical license preferred -Respectful and team oriented -Innovative & adaptable -Good communication skills -Associate Diploma in Production / Engineering or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment -Understanding of production methodology and equipment maintenance -Good Computer Literacy, ERP exposure a plus -NSW Drivers License -Forklift License
