The Role

Overview

Manage end-to-end tender process for solar projects, from identification to submission.

Tasks

Prepare regular reports on tender participation, outcomes, and win/loss analysis. Evaluate tenders based on eligibility criteria, scope of work, and profitability. Manage revisions, addendums, or corrigenda issued by tendering authorities. Upload or submit tenders on government or private portals within specified timelines. Regularly monitor government tender portals (GeM, CPPP, eProcurement, etc.) and private tender websites for relevant opportunities. Communicate with clients, consultants, and government departments for any clarifications or meetings related to tenders. Read and analyze tender documents to understand client requirements, technical specifications, and submission instructions. Prepare pre-qualification documents, technical proposals, and financial bids as per tender requirements. Ensure all submissions comply with terms, conditions, and deadlines. Attend pre-bid meetings and support senior management with presentation materials when required. Coordinate with technical, sales, finance, and legal teams to collect required documents and data. Maintain proper documentation of all tenders, including submitted proposals, correspondences, and results. Follow up on submitted tenders and maintain regular communication with stakeholders for status updates. Maintain an updated tender tracker to record upcoming, ongoing, and submitted tenders. Draft and compile complete tender documentation, including cover letters, forms, certifications, and annexures. Conduct internal reviews before submission to ensure accuracy and completeness. What You Bring

Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills. MBA or Diploma in Business / Project / Supply Chain Management preferred. Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in tendering, bidding, or proposal management. Experience in a solar, renewable energy, EPC, or electrical company will be highly preferred. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of solar energy sector, EPC tenders, or electrical industry will be an added advantage. Excellent knowledge of tendering process, bid documentation, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF editing tools. In-depth understanding of government e-procurement systems and online tender portals.
