Mechanical Apprentice

Overview

Perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and PM on HVAC, hydronic, and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

• chiller inspection
• failure reporting
• heat cleaning
• electro‑mechanical repair

Tasks

-Chiller tube inspections and cleaning -Contribute to site failure reporting (Equipment Status Log) -Clean In Place on heat exchangers -Break fix of all Electro-mechanical systems (HVAC, Hydronics, Appliances, Rollup doors, dock locks, air compressors, etc.)

What You Bring

-Ability to reach with both hands and arms -Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl using both arms and legs -Gas valve PMs -Ability to see at close and distance ranges and the ability to see and correctly distinguish color -Ability to smell, talk and hear -Formal training in approved vocational schools in the fundamentals of the trade -PMs on HVAC and Hydronic systems (Pumps, Strainers, Cooling Towers, etc.) -Ability to pick-up minimum 60 lbs. -Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects -Battle-Tested Leadership Experience -At least one (1) years of experience in the trade -Ability to work inside and outside -Ability to use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel, and type -Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, and balance -Owner-Operator Mindset
