Tasks

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist based in Sydney, NSW. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety protocols and environmental health standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, providing safety training, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and addressing workplace safety concerns. This role is integral in fostering a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.

What You Bring

-Experience in working in industrial or engineering environments is a plus -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills -Strong knowledge and experience in Environmental Health and Safety, Workplace Safety, and Safety Training practices -Ability to conduct risk assessments, enforce compliance, and address safety concerns -Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field is preferred -Expertise in Occupational Health and Health & Safety standards -Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are an advantage
