Generate and validate official technical documents for new and existing flavors and ingredient systems, including Product Data Sheets, Safety Data Sheets, and Nutritional Statements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Sales, Quality, MIH, and Production) to ensure compliance throughout product development.
Proactively conduct market research to understand regulatory changes and trends affecting the flavor and beverage industry.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential regulatory issues and develop mitigation strategies.
Provide training to internal teams on regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
Assist in achieving and maintaining certifications such as Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher, and Halal.
Review and approve product labels and advertising materials to ensure compliance with labeling regulations and truth-in-advertising laws.
Stay up to date on regulatory changes and understand their implications for the business.
Gather and analyze data to ensure compliance with domestic (FEMA GRAS, USDA) and international (Codex, EFFA, JECFA, etc.) regulatory requirements.
