  • Responsible for optimizing maintenance costs
  • Responsible for preventative, predictive and corrective plant equipment maintenance Reviews operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate problems and to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintenance activities including preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment repairs and installations to ensure maximum uptime and productivity
  • Looks for ways to improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs

  • General knowledge of working around large aggregate mines, and equipment
  • Fit for Duty Baseline Physical
  • Will travel to sites throughout Salt Lake and Utah Valley
  • Previous welding experience
  • DOT 5-Panel Drug Screen
  • Candidates must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment, exposed to weather elements, some noise; must have ability to work independently and problem-solve while working alone or as part of a team
  • Great attention to detail and have a high stress tolerance
