Overview
Lead HV substation commissioning, manage team, ensure safe energisation in Ireland.

Tasks
Lead and train new hires on site until such time as team members are competent to work autonomously. Working with the senior management to develop new business lines in target markets. Working with our in-house Health and Safety Officer and Management team to ensure the ongoing updating of our HV Safety Rules in line with industry standards and statutory requirements. Developing and building a commissioning team to deliver projects in target areas. Management of project programme including milestone and deadline management. Act as the technical lead for commissioning inquiries for ongoing projects Attend and provide input to daily/weekly project meetings, internally, vendor and client. Communication to all electrical stakeholders. Lead and manage a team of HV commissioners working on the transmission and distribution grid in Ireland. Planning and management of vendor FAT/SAT with possible attendance if necessary. Setting work scope for team members. Monitoring and managing delivery of scope. Identifying training requirements for the team members and arranging training courses and modules to suit. May include delivery of in-house training courses. Managing, delivery, and obtaining approval on relevant project documents such as Test Protocols, Compliance statements etc. As the HV Commissioning Manager, you will lead the commissioning of high voltage electrical infrastructure projects across Ireland.You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and compliant energisation of HV systems, working closely with engineering, safety, and delivery teams. He will have to be an approved commissioner with ESB. Managing the delivery, review, and compliance of project documentation to achieve the necessary sign off. -Participate in our monthly HSQE & Driving Performance Awards.

What You Bring
-A valid, clean driving licence. -Goal-oriented with strong people skills. -Approved commissioner with ESB -Proficiency in MS Office Suite; MS Project -Strong understanding of Irish grid codes and safety regulations. -Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills. -Minimum 5-10 years of commissioning experience for HV Substations
