Lead O&M contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships for renewable assets.
-Resolve any contract-related problems that arise externally and internally -Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal of key operating agreements -Develop, evaluate, negotiate, execute, and manage a wide variety of operational and long-term service agreement contracts -Lead a team of three (3) sourcing specialists dedicated to supporting operational scopes and transactions -Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes with key stakeholders -Maximize the value of existing O&M agreements through close collaboration with Procurement, Asset Management, and Operations departments -Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts for Clearway’s portfolio of operating wind, solar, and battery storage projects -Maintain records of correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress -Communicate and present information and sourcing recommendations to stakeholders about all contract-related matters -Provide active support and inputs on new potential business opportunities with new long-term service agreement providers -Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers performing under long-term service agreements -Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well-maintained -Assist stakeholders with contract interpretation and support escalation of key contractual terms internally and externally
-SAP S4 HANA and/or SAP Ariba experience -Three (3) or more years of O&M or asset management contracting experience -Strong analytical skills, including net present value (NPV) or internal rate of return (IRR) analyses -Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills -Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or procurement -Possesses a strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and agility to manage multiple projects with shifting timelines -People-management or related leadership experience -Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office -Energy industry experience – renewables (solar, wind, and energy storage) -Capable of comprehending the company’s risk appetite and ensuring contracts reflect such risk position -Demonstrated emotional intelligence, logic, and reason in resolving conflicts and solving business problems -Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the business and industry, and a solid understanding of legal concepts -Comfortable working as part of a cross-functional team
