Tasks

-Working as a team with manufacturing and maintenance colleagues. -Lifting and handling plant and machinery components using appropriate equipment and techniques. -Using software to interface or diagnose faults on plant and machinery. -Maintenance on large AC and DC motors. -Developing and implementing modifications to improved reliability of plant and machinery.

What You Bring

-Working to a continuous shift pattern with necessary overtime to cover holidays. -PLC, Instrumentation and Electronic drives. -Self-starter, proactive, prepared to take the initiative and work without direct supervision. -Ability to communicate effectively. -Significant experience in an industrial maintenance field. -Flexible attitude to overtime and shift cover -Completed a recognised, certificated industrial apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance. -MS Office or equivalent. -Ability to read technical drawings. -Work well under pressure. -Risk assessment and safety awareness, guarding of machinery legislation. -Minimum of BTEC ONC level in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or proven experience.
