The Role

Overview

Perform preventive, predictive, and routine mechanical/electrical maintenance on plant equipment.

Tasks

-Ensures all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities -Participates in plant safety, health, and environmental programs -Effectively troubleshoots failures and works in a team environment to determine root cause of failures -Upgrades and modifies new and existing equipment as needed -Repairs and maintains plant machinery and equipment such as pumps, motors, and electrical control devices -Performs both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production equipment from basic hydraulics to complex CNC machinery -Participates in plant shift meetings and continuous improvement activities -Performs preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment -Utilizes CMMS system to manage work orders and review work history

What You Bring

-High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate a plus -Experience with PLC and CNC test equipment to include troubleshooting, repairs, PMs, and other world-class maintenance measures -At least five years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and basic electrical repair -Experience, preferably by formal training, in principles and standards for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment operations -Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts highly preferred -Able to write detailed repair reports -Safety Training -Able to read and interpret documents and drawings -Mechatronics degree preferred -Must have good mathematical skills, including basic algebra, to calculate electrical/electronic equations as needed -Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation(s) -Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture
