The Role

Overview

Inspect and manage water/wastewater construction projects, ensuring QA/QC compliance.

Tasks

-Maintain quality assurance requirements and approach and monitor code compliance issues. -While performing daily inspections, inspector will be required to ensure Arcadis’ project safety guidelines are being met. -Inspect and determine deviations from general compliance with Contract Documents; clearly and professionally inform the contractor of required corrections. -Maintain Payment Quantity documentation. -Attend and participate in construction meetings, safety meetings/updates and project site coordination meetings. -Monitor and document contractor resource utilization (labor, materials, and equipment) for field changes, and time and material work and assist with negotiation of basic field construction changes. -Perform mathematical calculations as necessary during inspection activities. -Review submittals and other construction documents and recommend technical solutions. -Verify equipment and materials installation for payment purposes.
