Tasks

-Ensure compliance with and proactively promote safe working principles, good working practises, wearing of correct PPE, good housekeeping, reporting of safety observations, near misses and incidents. -Complete post operation equipment maintenance checks. -Rigging and general lifting of equipment. -Proactively participate in the companies in house training scheme for our specialist equipment as well as relevant third party courses. -Reports directly to the Foreman and Supervisor on site and the personnel planner in the office. -Support packing and unpacking of containers in accordance with detailed packing lists. -To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legal, company and client safety regulations, risk assessments and method statements. -Maintenance, preparation and packing of equipment in the Middlesbrough yard in readiness for mobilisation to a project. -Filling out project documentation such as but not limited to: equipment pre-use check sheets, maintenance records, daily site reports. -Unpacking, setup, istallation, operation and maintenance of Mammoet Offshore Services equipment including but not limited to strand jacks, diesel driven hydraulic power unites, ballast pumps, winches, hydraulic jacks and weighing equipment on project sites. -Travel to a wide range of project sites worldwide both onshore and offshire.

What You Bring

-Mechanical/Electrical/Hydraulic/Marine/Industrial background -Current offshore medical and survival certificate and OPITO MIST -Experience in hydraulic and mechanical maintenance and hydraulic system operation -Mechanical/Electrical/Hydraulic City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ L3 or similar -Willing and capable to learn operation and maintenance Mammoet's specialist equipment -Problem solving and fault finding and able to invent and propose new methods or modifications to existing systems -Reading, understanding and working to site and project specific method statements, risk assessments, ITP's and engineering drawings. -Industry related general certificates such as CPCS Slinger-Signaller, Lift Supervisor, Forklift Truck, Telehandler, CCNSG Safety Passport, Abrasive Wheels, IPAF, Working at Height -Based at our Offshore Services office in Middlesbrough, UK with regular travel worldwide -Hydraulic systems, PLC controlled equipment, experience in a similar role -Current valid passport (no restrictions) -Willing to travel and work within and outside of the UK for extensive periods including some offshore working -Current valid driving licence
