Works Technician - Process Controller

Overview

Maintain and operate water recycling sites, performing scheduled maintenance and compliance tasks.

Tasks

-Ensure asset care activities (e.g., lubrication schedules) are carried out to required standards -Liaise with OMC to reschedule work plan in order to address any critical compliance issues -Ensure site servicing is carried out in order that process run as effectively and efficiently as possible, and that tasks are carried out in their correct sequence such that compliance is always maintained -Carry out scheduled activities as instructed via a scheduling App or direct from the OMC Technicians or from FLM or Optimiser (as appropriate) -Implementation of agreed actions on Compliance Action Plans.

What You Bring

-Competency with IT systems -Strong sense of process and health and safety -Ability to work quickly, using own initiative and be able to solve problems -Strong administration abilities -A willingness to be flexible and an ability to get on with internal and external customers at all levels is essential -Full driving license -Some experience of sewerage design and construction is desirable -Confidence and ability to deal with people at all levels -Educated to GCSE level, preferably in English and Mathematics -Experience in a hands on/manual environment
