Tasks

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a Draughtsman. The Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and shop drawings for infrastructure projects including roads, earthworks, as well as deep and shallow utility networks. -Ensure that all drawings comply with UAE authority standards and approval processes (e.g., RTA, DEWA, DM). -Provide support to site teams for drawing clarifications and modifications during execution. -Assist in preparing drawing packages for submissions to clients and regulatory authorities. -Produce detailed technical drawings and as-built documentation for infrastructure projects. -Maintain up-to-date records of drawing revisions, submissions, and approvals. -Utilize AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other drafting tools to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines. -Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop plans that meet design and construction requirements. -Interpret survey data and integrate it accurately into drawings and layouts.

What You Bring

-8+ years of experience as a Draughtsman in UAE-based infrastructure and civil engineering projects. -Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. -Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software. -Experience preparing drawings for government-approved infrastructure projects. -Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. -Strong understanding of civil construction methods and infrastructure detailing. -Ability to read, interpret, and apply survey and site data to technical drawings.
