Tasks

-Deliver strong customer satisfaction through exceptional product support and service excellence. -Manage the business line’s financial performance, including P&L accountability, forecasting, receivables, and inventory management. -Build and maintain trusted relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders within the underground mining sector. -Support people development through coaching, performance appraisals, and identifying talent with growth potential. -Collaborate closely with the aftermarket and service teams to expand and strengthen aftermarket business opportunities. -Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing team to achieve business and financial targets. -Drive continuous improvement and innovation in product offerings, processes, and customer engagement. -Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities. -Encourage open communication, fairness, and respect across all teams. -Develop and implement strategic market, sales, and growth plans for the UMR business line in alignment with divisional goals. -Drive the use of digital tools and technologies to enhance customer relationships and operational efficiency. -Contribute as an active member of the Australian Customer Center Leadership Team, supporting overall company performance and strategy. -Promote and uphold Epiroc’s global values, policies, and standards outlined in The Way We Do Things. -Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation within your team.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful business strategies. -Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required. -Analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into strategic insights and actions. -Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead change through a large and diverse organisation. -High customer focus and ability to build enduring partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. -Proven track record in a senior sales, commercial, or business leadership role within the mining or heavy equipment industry. -Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, P&L, and operational performance. -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or postgraduate qualification desirable). -Deep understanding of underground mining processes, technologies, and equipment.
