The Role

Overview

Oversee and deliver energy projects (gas, solar, wind, storage) from concept through construction.

Tasks

-Coordinate federal, state, and local permits and studies. -Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technologies. -Build and lead project teams across the organization. -Participate in marketing, technical presentations, and client meetings. -Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices. -Prepare proposals, budgets, and schedules for new projects. -Innovate and identify new service areas in response to market changes. -Review contracts and project team deliverables for accuracy and compliance. -Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative work environment. -Support talent acquisition and staff development. -Expand existing client accounts and develop new energy clients. -Lead multidisciplinary technical projects, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure quality standards. -Contribute to business planning and strategy.

What You Bring

-Experience with CAISO, MISO, ERCOT, PJM RTO interconnection requirements preferred. -Understand supply/demand, policy, markets, and financial metrics for project success. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). -Experience with state and local permitting, including special use permits and public meetings. -Bachelor’s degree in civil/electrical engineering, environmental sciences, urban/regional planning, or related field. -Knowledge of solar energy modeling tools (e.g., PVSyst, PVcase, PlantPredict) -15+ years of experience in energy project development (natural gas, solar, wind, energy storage). -Proven client development and management experience. -Valid driver’s license and ability to travel. -Professional Engineering registration preferred -Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
