Electrical Assistant Project Manager

Overview

Assist project manager on electrical contracts, estimating, coordination, billing.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Communicate with clients and subcontractors -Assist in estimating project scope and costs -Manage projects with subcontractors -Assist with the submittal process. -Research and recommend solutions to design document problems, including conflicts, interferences, and errors/omissions -Monitor field work and/or contract work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes. -Attend and actively participate in project coordination and owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings as requested or required. -Assist in the tracking and completion of billing. -Research and preparation of change requests to resolve design issues for approval

What You Bring

-A College degree, journeyman’s license, or master electrician’s license -Able to work independently as well as in a team environment -Strong computer skills -Understanding of electrical installations -Excellent organizational skills -Familiar with computer-based estimating -Knowledge of billing and collections -Experience in dealing with industrial construction/contracting -Electrical contracting assistant project management experience -Excellent verbal and written communication skills
