Entry Level Mechanical Designer – Multiple Sectors

Overview

Entry-level mechanical designer creating and reviewing building system designs.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Performs calculations and designs basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced design staff. -Participates in client, company and/or industry events to build and maintain professional relationships. -Prepares or modifies reports, plans, and designs for projects. -Occasionally visits job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. -Supports business development or pursuit activities. -Prepares system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics. -Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.

What You Bring

-Basic proficiency in engineering design: basic knowledge of the A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards. -Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred. -Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (i.e.: mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural) and one year of experience, or 3 years of experience without degree required. -If you have recently graduated – Congrats!
