  • At times you will be relied upon to be the senior designer on assigned projects
  • Establish and monitor the budget, manage the project team, and prepare schedules to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Be responsible for all facets of product delivery to clients and be accountable for client satisfaction
  • Focus on client interactions and meeting clients’ expectations
  • Responsible for planning, interpreting, organizing, scheduling, and managing projects through all phases of development
  • Maintain an overview of the project team’s workload and commitments to successfully meet deadlines and balance resource utilization
  • Have a strong understanding of the finances of the project and preparation of proposals
  • Oversee design development, production of working drawings, and construction administration on projects
  • Manage 1 - 2 direct reports

  • Minimum total of 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer with an MEP background
  • Must have Time Management and scheduling skills
  • Experience independently leading projects
  • 7+ years of mechanical design experience
  • Expert understanding of the construction process and interpretation of construction drawings
  • 6+ years of Project Management experience
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills (verbal and written), with experience presenting (you will often be required to present solutions directly to 'c-suite' level stakeholders)
  • AutoCAD and Revit experience needed
