Overview
Form and finish concrete on heavy civil projects.

Tasks
-Prepare, grade, and level work areas. -Install embedded items such as pipes and metal embeds. -Pour, consolidate, and finish concrete for curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and structures. -Engage in ongoing learning, improvement, and development opportunities. -Cut and assemble boards, timber, and plywood to build concrete forms. -Work collaboratively with your crew to meet safety, quality, and production goals. -Read blueprints and make precise measurements. -Safely operate and maintain hand tools, including saws, grinders, drills, and hammers. -Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times. -Erect scaffolding and ladders safely and efficiently. -Handle and move various construction materials. -Lay out, erect, and tie reinforcing bars.

What You Bring
-Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. -Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites. -Self-motivated and dependable. -Minimum 2 years of heavy construction concrete formwork experience. -Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic. -Proven commitment to safety and quality workmanship. -Knowledge of proper and safe use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in heavy construction. -Must be able to work safely outdoors in all weather conditions. -PPE required: hard hat, hearing and eye protection, high-visibility clothing. -You consistently deliver high-quality, precise formwork and finishes. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints. -Effective communication and teamwork skills. -Concrete finishing experience with curb, gutter, and sidewalks or similar work.
