Overview

Design EC&I systems for defence, nuclear and power infrastructure projects.

Tasks

We design, install and maintain the mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems that power and protect the UK’s most vital assets β€” from energy networks to defence and nuclear facilities. -Providing expert technical guidance to project teams and contributing to design innovation. -Producing and verifying detailed technical documentation β€” from drawings and specifications to design reports and schedules. -Mentoring and developing junior engineers within the team. -Designing and developing EC&I systems for major defence, nuclear and power infrastructure projects. -Supporting design and construction reviews, identifying and mitigating design risks. -Reviewing supplier and manufacturer documentation for EC&I compliance and quality assurance. -Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with design tools. -Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with a collaborative and problem-solving approach. -Proven experience in electrical, control and instrumentation design. -Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must have lived and worked in the UK for at least the past 5 years to meet security clearance requirements. -Strong working knowledge of relevant standards, codes and regulations.
