The Role

Overview

Assemble pre‑hung doors, operate machinery, handle materials, ensure safety.

Tasks

-Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and observing all safety rules posted in the warehouse. -Acting as a machine operator, utilizing power saws, air nail guns, staplers and other tools needed to prep wood material used to assemble doors. -Monitoring quality assurance throughout the production process. -Loading, unloading, storing and packaging production material from the warehouse as needed.

What You Bring

-Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds -Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions; deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. -Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one -High school diploma or general education degree (GED) -Forklift training, certification, and operation.
