Tasks

-Conduct final inspections and re-tank units -Complete documentation for HSE, Quality, and Operations -Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines -Prepare components for dry-out and manage oven operations -Reassemble active parts using technical drawings and reference images -Ensure all work meets industry standards for transformer repair -Inspect and disassemble transformer units -Operate cranes and forklifts to move components safely -Assemble units for Final Test and shipment -Perform mechanical and electrical connections (e.g., brazing, crimping, bolting)

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of transformer components, insulation systems, and winding techniques -College certificate in a technical program or Grade 12 diploma -Valid certification or proven experience in crane and forklift operation -Minimum 10 years of experience in transformer repair or industrial electrical equipment -Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada -Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
