Tasks

-Acts as a Technical reviewer/signatory on low/medium-risk projects and bids. -Supports change and new initiatives. -Backs up verbal and written arguments with data and facts, provides solutions and recommendations. -Builds trust and reputation with clients through personal contribution to excellence. -Adheres to Safety requirements, identifies hazards, asks questions when in doubt and recommends solutions to manage them. -Clearly marshals and delivers thoughts on paper, provides clear and detailed documents. -Promotes the importance of quality within their business. -Establishes and maintains effective relationships across the business. -Produces innovative solutions. -Promotes innovation and assists in larger digital initiatives in line with organizational objectives. -Undertakes specialist/complex packages of work and function as a Discipline Technical Reviewer on Medium technical risk projects within their own discipline. -Contributes to and researches the development of existing and new areas of technology/capabilities to inform business strategy.

What You Bring

-Can take on Subject Matter Expert role within discipline, growing towards a Professional Head of Discipline or Technical Authority role. -Familiar with the commercial governance, systems and project management governance. -Able to provide leadership on “Safe by Design” on projects and review our approach to hierarchical risk elimination, mitigation and controls. -Cautious while handling confidences and confidential information; does not release the same, until business dictates. -Demonstrates professional behaviors. Understands the impact of their behavior and appropriateness of responses. -Tailors unique style and approach in response to the requirements of new situations, demonstrates tact, sensitivity and empathy. -Able to present their technical work and that of their colleagues in their field to clients. -Relevant professional qualifications or demonstrate good progress towards these e.g. CEng, RIBA, CEnv, P.Eng, P.E, APM etc. -Able to communicate complex concepts in clear language. -Able to take over a technical lead role, with a growing reputation internally and externally within their field.
