Tasks

-Fosters internal relationships across the firm, ensuring that design deliverables are aligned with best practices firmwide -Together with design and marketing teams, leads project photography efforts -Maintains strong industry and client relationships. Together with studio leadership, identifies opportunities for business development and new project pursuits -Mentors and develops the design team. Oversees deliverables and provides feedback on work product. Together with studio leadership, leads key training and team-building exercises -Establishes rapport with clients, develops project vision and understands client goals for performance, budget and schedule -Leads creation of space plans, design deliverables and furniture packages for key projects and accounts -Monitors team design output for all clients, coordinating with PM and design/technical teams to ensure design and furniture deliverables are aligned with client goals. -Leads design presentations for key projects and accounts

What You Bring

Application must include resume and portfolio -Expert concept development and 3D visualization skills -Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills -Expert storytelling and presentation skills -Expert of design principles, practices and architectural detailing -Extensive knowledge of building systems, codes (local and state) and ADA requirements. -Advanced MS Office Suite skills -Graduate of an accredited architecture or design school. -Advanced Revit and Sketchup skills -Comprehensive knowledge of contract furnishings finishes and equipment. -15+ years progressive experience in hospitality and workplace design -Licensed Architect and/or Interior Designer -Knowledge of all phases of design, from concept through contract administration.
