  • bim clash
  • hydraulic design
  • design review
  • authority approvals
  • risk management
  • client coordination

Tasks

-Lead and manage all design interface activities related to wet utilities, ensuring alignment across disciplines (civil, structural, MEP, environmental, etc.). -Coordinate closely with local authorities and utility service providers to secure design NOCs, permits, and approvals. -Ensure wet utility systems are designed in compliance with airport authority requirements and environmental standards. -Identify and resolve design conflicts, interface issues, and spatial coordination challenges. -Support design change management, risk identification, and mitigation strategies for interface issues. -Monitor design progress, identify critical interface risks, and support schedule integration with construction teams. -Oversee clash detection and resolution using BIM and other digital tools. -Ensure that hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, layouts, and utility corridors are technically sound and constructible. -Facilitate design workshops, interface coordination meetings, and technical reviews with multidisciplinary teams. -Review and approve wet utility designs (water supply, wastewater, stormwater, firewater, irrigation) for compliance with project specifications, local codes, and international standards. -Provide expert input to construction sequencing, utility phasing, and commissioning plans. -Serve as the primary point of contact between design consultants, contractors, and client teams for all wet utility systems.
