Tasks

-Inspection duties will include basic construction inspection, measurement and documentation of construction activities, computation of quantities and checking work for compliance with specifications. Work may also include performing basic field testing and communicating the test results to your supervisor as well as collecting quantity tickets on paving projects.

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license; safe/reliable transportation -Travel to the job site will be required. Locations of work will vary depending on the assignment. -Seeking a college degree (2-year or 4-year) in Engineering, Engineering Technology or equivalent. -Ideal applicants will be in college with a focus in engineering or engineering technology with limited knowledge in the principles and practice of engineering and construction. The successful candidate should be a good communicator, have solid writing/math skills and be comfortable interacting with others on the job site, including inspectors and contractors. The successful candidate will be expected to follow directions provided by supervisors and senior staff. -Willing to work more than 40 hours per week. -Reliable, hardworking and willing to follow directions provided by supervisor. -Looking to gain construction inspection experience.
