Solar Senior Electrical Superintendent

Direct field work for utility-scale solar projects, lead superintendents, ensure safety and schedule.

Tasks

-Work with Project Management team for subcontracts -Support Electrical Superintendents in creation of project schedules -Help manage procurement and engineering schedule -Manage multiple utility scale solar projects -Estimate upcoming projects -Budget and schedule reporting -Assist with scheduling shared resources -Assist managing subcontracted resources across portfolio -Coordinate with Pre-Construction for site visits -Support and mentor direct reports as well as manage performance reviews -Coordinate with other departments for resource expectations (QC, commissioning, substation, etc.) -Oversees internal design review and coordination -Interviewing and onboarding of new salaried personnel -Create, distribute, and enforce best practices for Electrical Field Operations -Support superintendents in owner discussions -Creation and monitoring of safety initiatives -Supports Project Executive in project change discussions

What You Bring

-Experience with multiple direct reports and an exceptional ability to lead and manage project teams is a necessity -Journeyman or masters license (including NASCLA or other way to demonstrate proficiency in electrical best practices), or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire -5 years’ experience as the General Superintendent on utility scale solar projects -STS-C Certification at a minimum, or the ability to obtain within 6 months after hire -Bachelor's in construction management, engineering or related field preferred
