Tasks

-Support the capital planning process, collaborating with project managers on timely and accurate submissions -Identify capital spend processed through the expense budget. Support process of reclassing to capital projects. -Oversee the capitalization of project manager labor to projects, including providing execution guidance, supporting the determination and documentation of labor allocation percentages to capital projects, and periodically reviewing and updating allocations as needed. -Maintain sophisticated financial models and databases to track capital performance and support strategic decision-making -Monitor capital deployment against approved budgets, providing regular reporting and variance analysis to senior leadership

What You Bring

-Proven experience in real estate capital markets or corporate finance -Understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial statement analysis -CFA, CPA, or advanced degree (MBA/MS Finance) strongly preferred -Knowledge of financial services business model and real estate strategy -Advanced financial modeling skills -Experience managing large capital budgets ($100M+) and complex investment portfolios -Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex financial concepts to senior executives -Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field with 8+ years of capital management experience -Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail and accuracy -Experience with real estate investment software (Argus, CoStar, etc.) -Project management certification or demonstrated project leadership experience -Previous experience in banking or financial services real estate operations
