Tasks

-Ensure workmanship and installation quality meet client and design standards -Review drawings, submittals, and RFIs to resolve field conflicts proactively -Maintain project schedule; track progress and support look-ahead planning with PM -Support coordination of material deliveries, equipment, and manpower scheduling -Enforce all safety policies/requirements; conduct toolbox talks and site inspections -Coordinate with building management, inspectors, and design teams for required approvals -Manage daily jobsite operations, site logistics, labor, and subcontractor coordination -Maintain daily reports, site documentation, and issue logs in Procore (or equivalent)

What You Bring

My client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on premium commercial interior projects. The successful candidate will oversee site logistics, trade coordination, safety, inspections, quality control, and schedule execution, partnering closely with clients, design teams, project management, and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery. -OSHA certification required; additional safety credentials preferred -Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office -Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals; proven field issue resolution -Strong communication and trade coordination skills; professional client-facing approach -Strong record supervising high-end commercial fit-outs / renovations, ideally in occupied buildings -5+ years of construction field experience, preferably within NYC
