Tasks

-Lead the crane‑barge operations and deck crew (crane operator, riggers, signalmen) to execute the piling plan safely and efficiently. -Oversee barge plant reliability and planned maintenance in coordination with the Project Plant function while protecting production windows. -Coordinate and verify lift plans, load charts, rigging gear and exclusion zones for all heavy lifts on deck; enforce PTW, toolbox briefings and emergency drills. (Aligns with MCD lifting expectations seen in other roles.) -Maintain concise logbooks, daily reports and assist in barge readiness, inspections and audits. -Plan and execute barge moves; manage mooring, anchors, and spuds; coordinate tugs/anchor boats and work with Survey to hold line & level for pile positioning. -Interface daily with Construction/Marine Superintendent and Project Engineers on sequence, methods, weather/tide windows, and quality/ITPs.

What You Bring

-5-8 years leading crane‑barge piling for marine civil (pier/jetty/wharf), ideally having served as Barge Foreman/Barge Master or equivalent. (Experience coordinating piling/drilling and rig moves stands out.) -Certifications (preferred/advantage): WSQ Lifting Supervisor (or commitment to obtain quickly), Rigging & Signalman, Work‑at‑Height, STCW/Basic Safety, and WSH Supervise Construction Work. (Barge Supervisor/BCO and heavy‑lift/derrick experience viewed favorably.) -Proven competence in anchor handling/mooring/spuds, barge positioning, and working with Survey; familiar with vibro and impact hammers and pile gates/leaders. -Able to work an alternate 6‑day work week; company transport from Tanah Merah MRT. -Own production KPIs (piles/day, cycle time, downtime), track performance, and drive root‑cause actions to recover schedule. -Strong leadership of multi‑national barge crews; crisp communication and coordination with tugs, survey and site engineers.
