Tasks

In partnership with executives and leadership, you will help create detailed roadmaps for key lines of business and look for opportunities to consolidate platforms of engagement, empowering growth for both the team and the company, and drive success for all involved. Additionally, you’ll create and track work plans, provide guidance for team members through performance management and coaching, and seek continuous process improvement within the team. You’ll ensure alignment of team objectives with IT strategies, goals, initiatives and priorities as well as with the business strategy for applications, architecture and infrastructure. You’ll also build and maintain effective working relationships with other IT functions to develop and maintain standards. The team is focused on effective delivery and support for over 400 applications used across the enterprise in all lines of business, including operational applications and systems focused on field assets and critical infrastructure.

What You Bring

You’ll use your bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or related degree and minimum of five years’ progressive experience leading technical teams to oversee critical support for numerous applications and integrated systems from utility market leader solutions including GE, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), Eaton, Bentley, Hitachi and DNV. In addition to many key industry focused systems, your team will coordinate configuration and advancement of the ServiceNow platform, with current focus on implementation of Now Assist, IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, Hardware and Software Asset Management, Integrated Risk Management and Security Operations modules. You’ll ensure seamless collaboration across multiple IT teams while maintaining high availability and performance of ServiceNow as a foundational enterprise application.
