Tasks
-Oversee the adoption of new technology solutions in the businesses. -Regular reporting to senior management about the performance and issues and suggest improvements. -Interface between Support functions and Business. -Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies. -Implement efficient process and mechanism for streamline working between businesses and support functions. -Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. -Implementation of important policy and processes. -Enhance the communication channel between businesses, Support functions and management. -Collaborating with other senior management to formulate strategy for Business Continuity and requirements.

What You Bring
-Applicants must have more than 15 years of experience in Civil Engineering, UK/Middle East/US/experience, which would be desirable but are not essential. -Able to see the “bigger picture” and take a birds-eye view of projects -Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. -Ability to build consensus and relationship among business leads, management and employees. -Must be able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way. -Prioritizing and delegating task ability. -A strong managerial acumen and familiarity with business administration principles. -Strong problem-solving skills -Excellent communication and influencing skill. -Ability to get the job done. -Good in Business Negotiation and people management. -Capable of working on as own initiative, as an overall responsibility and accountability for assigned work. -Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. -Should be knowledgeable in rail design services, associated regulations and technical standards. -Experience in Rail Market – overall. -Experience in UK, UAE, US, Canada, Middle East (preferred). -Must be a team player and possess strong interpersonal skills. -Must have leadership skills/ability. -Able to introduce new processes and improve existing processes and get buy in from all.
