Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cranes and heavy equipment

Tasks
-Prepare proper documentation of actions taken -Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed -Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all makes of cranes and other equipment -Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations

What You Bring
-Able to lift 50 lbs -Able to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs -Must have basic set of mechanic’s hand tools -Ability to safely operate complex construction equipment -Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings -Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity -Positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers -Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision -Must have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background -Previous experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks is a plus
